2. Training objectives

2.1. General objective:

The goal of the standard university-level training program in Law is to provide high-quality human resources in the legal field for society, meeting the requirements of the labor market and economic development needs. - the country's society. The training program aims to equip learners with a system of foundational and in-depth knowledge of legal science, including both theoretical and practical knowledge; provide learners with the necessary skills to carry out professional activities after graduation; helps learners acquire appropriate qualities and abilities to develop into experts in the field of law, who can participate in research, development and enforcement of law at state agencies and key organizations . socio-political organizations, international organizations, domestic and foreign economic organizations, research and teaching units on law; Able to self-study or continue studying at higher levels.

2.2. Specific objectives:

2.1.1. About knowledge:

- Equip learners with basic knowledge of philosophy, economics, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities and information technology;

- Provides learners with theoretical and practical knowledge about the State and law, from basic to in-depth legal knowledge in different legal fields such as constitutional law and administrative law. ; criminal law; civil law; business law; international law...;

- Helps learners establish and develop systematic legal thinking to be able to solve complex legal problems arising from practice.

- Helps learners gain necessary professional skills so that they can apply the knowledge they have been equipped with in real life and perform professional tasks such as: applying the law; popularize, propagate and educate the law; resolve legal disputes; legal advice and provision of legal services; criticize, develop and improve policies and laws; researching legal science, receiving and applying research results in legal science...;

- Provide learners with some basic and useful supporting skills for professional activities such as: looking up and updating information and documents; work independently and in groups; Communicate effectively using different methods and forms...;

- Help learners be able to use at least one foreign language well.

PART II: OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM

1. About knowledge

PLO1 : Apply into practice the basic scientific knowledge system of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's ideology and ethics, materialist worldview and dialectical methodology to approach and interpret problems about the State and law;

PLO2 : Apply basic knowledge of social sciences and humanities, natural sciences, economics and knowledge by discipline (such as: theory of the State and law; State history and law; history of political theories; constitutional law; comparative jurisprudence; legal thinking...) in solving theoretical and practical problems related to the mining industry create;

PLO3 : Apply fundamental knowledge of legal science by industry group (such as: civil law; civil procedure law; criminal law; criminal procedure law; commercial law; public international law; private law international law...), in-depth legal knowledge according to the training field (such as: intellectual property law; criminology; legal theory on human rights ; social security law , international trade law...) and practical knowledge to identify and solve specific legal issues that arise in practical work;

PLO4 : Synthesize theoretical and practical knowledge that has been equipped to form systematic legal thinking, critical thinking in law application activities, law development and legal scientific research;

PLO5 : Evaluate actual legal regulations based on analyzing these regulations, comparing them with actual implementation, influencing factors and foreign laws to propose recommendations and solutions to perfect the law and improve the effectiveness of applying the law in each specific case.

PLO6 : Approperiately apply legal regulations to solve legal problems that arise in practical work based on accurate assessment of data and information received and correctly determine the legal requirements that need to be resolved. resolve ;

- Group 1: Working for legislative, executive, and judicial agencies from central to local levels, especially law protection agencies such as courts, prosecutors, judgment enforcement, police, Party agencies, and socio-political organizations;

- Group 2: Independent practice or working for organizations providing legal services such as: lawyer offices, law firms, notary offices, bailiffs, administrators, management enterprises and asset liquidation, arbitration centers , mediation ... of Vietnam and foreign countries;

- Group 3: Working for domestic and foreign businesses as specialists, legal staff, legal consultants, human resource management, debt collection...;

- Group 4: Teaching and research at legal, administrative-political training and research institutions such as universities, colleges, high schools, research centers, research institutes... ;

- Group 5: Working for non-governmental organizations, intergovernmental organizations or international organizations with law-related activities.

Note:

- Foreign Language Module B1 (Including languages according to regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi) in the general knowledge block of the training program is a mandatory module that students must accumulate. However, students who have a foreign language certificate that meets the output standards of the training program and submit the certificate within the prescribed time are exempted from studying and taking the exam for this foreign language section (as prescribed in Instruction No. 1011/HD -VNU, March 23, 2023 by the Director of VNU);

- Legal Foreign Language Module 1 is taught in English and French (available to choose either of the above two languages);

- The Soft Skills module in the general knowledge block of the training program is a prerequisite module, not counted in the number of credits of the training program.
